Donavon's 7th Birthday

A visit to the newly opened Disney Naturally Cafe on 12 Jan- Donavon's birthday. "Now, let me see what to eat...". Donavon ended up writting a '6' under his favourate ice-cream & of course he didn't get any...hahaha. Here's a photo taken when we finally got home in the evening. The boys were not in the best of mood coz they were woken up from their nap in the car. But they were cheered-up when they saw the red eggs. It's quite peculiar but they actually look forward to red eggs rather than a birthday cake. I guess next time I should just have the candles lit on the red eggs.

Later that night Donavon asked me why on mommy's birthday, daddy told him that he mustn't annoyed her but when it's his birthday, he still must do as what we said. I showed him the C-section scar on my belly & explained to him how the doctor had to cut me open to take him out 7 years ago. I think he understands how much we love him.

First Day of School

First Day of School...2 Jan 08. It was a busy day for all of us. Theron was all ready to go to school at 11.30am. He is now in K1.

This is the class & the big guy is the form teacher, Mr Yong. He's a comical chap. He was briefing the class on what to do when they need a bio-break.

Ahh...Here is my P1 boy. Don't he look cute in his oversized uniform ? We love the idea of the tucked out shirt & black shoes.

Here is the 'complicated' school hours. They start school really late at 2.25 pm on Wednesdays.

A boy from P2 was assigned as his buddy to show him how to purchase food in the canteen. Well, it is a milestone for Donavon. The first bowl of noodles he bought all by himself!

First Entry for 2008

Happy New Year 2008 ! How did I begin my year ? Well, I have recently joined Facebook. Yes, yes, I know...it's a bit late but it's better than never...So, I'm been busy looking for my friends & relatives in the cyberspace. It's really fun tiring my eyes out sending all sorts of 'gifts' & greetings to each other. It's actually quite a strange thing that we sometimes feel more comfortable with some 'distance' from our friends, if you know what I mean.

We have also been busy setting up the room for our boys. The room was painted sky blue & cheese yellow. The boys were thrilled by their new double decker bus bed ! Their dad were glad that he finally got rid of them from our bedroom. :p

As for Christmas, we were delighted to be invited to a family friend, Kevin & Sharon's place just the weekend before Christmas & a gathering at Wendy's place. Well, the boys (all 3 of them) & myself enjoyed the food & company of friends. We would also like to thank everyone for the presents ! Yes, presents ! The boys (only the 2 small ones) could hardly wait till the morning of 25 Dec to open up all the presents. They torn the nice wrappings open in no time at all. Ha!

Oh well, gotta sleep early tonight. Tomorrow it's the first day of school ! Again, hope that the Year 2008 would be a wonderful & fulfilling year for all !
